I spent six months at the Business Times in Singapore writing financial news. There, I had the opportunity to visualize data from the Indonesian Q1/15 financial report, taste rotis made from the first robotic roti-maker, and have tea with the family of the man who owned Singapore's first air-conditioned cinema.

Needless to say, it was an enriching experience that deepened my understanding of both news source and reader, and strengthened my grasp of storytelling. I learned how to think critically about the information presented to me, interview subjects who might be reluctant to tell the full story, and collaborate with my colleagues in the newsroom. Here are some samples of my work (click through to view the PDFs in full).
